I signed up in the app but I’m not in any club

That’s expected — signing up doesn’t put you in a club. Join your club with an invite code, or ask your coach/admin to invite you by email. See Join your club.

I’m a coach but the app/club shows me as a player

You probably joined with an invite code, which always adds people as players. Ask your club owner/admin to invite you by email as a coach, or to change your role. See Invite coaches and Roles & clubs.

The portal is only for owners, admins, and coaches. If you can’t get in, you likely haven’t been invited as one yet — ask your club owner/admin. If you were provisioned by an admin, make sure you’ve set your password first.

Clubs aren’t self-serve yet — the Matcha team provisions them and assigns an owner. See Create or claim your school/club.

The app won’t get past stump calibration

The app must find the stumps before it can detect deliveries. Reposition so the stumps are clearly in frame and well lit, hold the phone steady, and try again. See Record a session.

Uploads run in the background and resume if your connection drops. Keep the app open with a connection and they’ll finish; large sessions can take a while.

Your deliveries go into your club’s analysis queue, where coaches/analysts review them. Timing depends on your club. Coaches: see Assign & review analysis.
