Create or claim your school/club
Every club (school, academy, indoor centre, or cricket club) exists as one organisation in Matcha. Here’s how a club comes to exist and how you get control of it.
How clubs are created today
Section titled “How clubs are created today”To get a club set up:
- Request a club from the Matcha team. Tell them:
- the club name,
- the type (school / academy / indoor centre / cricket club),
- who should be the owner (name + email).
- Matcha creates the organisation and makes that person the owner.
- The owner receives access and sets their password on first sign-in.
Once the owner is in, they can invite everyone else themselves — no further help needed.
Claiming ownership
Section titled “Claiming ownership”If your club already exists but you should be running it, ask the Matcha team (or the current owner) to make you the owner or an admin. Ownership can be transferred between accounts.
What “owner” lets you do
Section titled “What “owner” lets you do”As owner you can:
- invite and manage coaches, admins, and players,
- build rosters and squads,
- configure club settings and billing,
- promote another member to admin, or transfer ownership.
Next: invite your coaches.
